As of today, October 7th, all our Catholic Schools across the diocese have returned to class following the disturbance caused by Hurricane Ida. 

A list of Mass times for the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time (September 25th - 26th) throughout the diocese.

Due to the potential of heavy rainfall and flash flooding as Hurricane Nicholas continues to track across our area, Central Catholic will dismiss at 12:00 Noon today, September 14th.

A medical relief team will be in the diocese this week offering free aid.

Bishop Fabre will be celebrating Sunday Mass in Larose at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Sunday, September 5 at 8:00AM.  All are welcome. 

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all those impacted by Hurricane Ida. At this time, in light of the current communications challenges in the area, Central Catholic School in Morgan City remains closed  this week.

All Catholic schools in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux will be closed until further notice. Please continue to monitor local news stations, our diocesan website, diocesan and Catholic schools social media sites, emails, and your school communications system for additional information and updates.

At this time, with Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes having called for mandatory evacuations, ALL Masses this weekend are canceled in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.

All Catholic schools in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux will be closed on Monday, August 30th due to the impending landfall this weekend of Hurricane Ida, and in alignment with civil authorities.
