What is planned giving? Planned giving is a way for donors to make a
tax-deductible gift to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux
from their assets rather than their annual income. There are a variety of ways
this can be done including those in which the organization is able to receive
an annual payment throughout their lifetime.Through a strong partnership with the Catholic Foundation
of South Louisiana, Catholic Charities has launched our Legacy Giving Program.
The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana has supported Catholic Charities for
many years through our perpetual funds providing annual support to our
ministries. Their partnership and team gives donors the ability to make giving
and impactful for our ministries.

Foundation of South Louisiana in your will or trust, please let us know so we
can ensure that your gift is used according to your wishes. Notifying us of
your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. However, if
you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict
